Oh Kiss Me! (Kate)

SIX HOURS!  I spent six hours today rehearsing for the musical that I'm in. (Kiss Me Kate an old Broadway number) The good part: I have decent makeup on for once. The bad part: I can't get "Wunderbar" out of my head. You know you've spent too long rehearsing when you can't stop singing the songs that you are NOT a part of. And when you start swaying while wearing a 5 pound renaissance skirt. Needless to say, the director may be stuck in the fifties, but our neon leggings are definitively not.... Well Wunderbar, you've introduced me to a Junior who may or may not flirt with every pair of legs that walks past him. Sigh. To be in highschool and so very out of love (Funny because of the title of the musical) Yollo Who knows what'll happen opening night is tomorrow......We'll need a lot of luck

Let's have some Fun. ;)

It's the middle of a very very long week....sigh The only thing that's keeping me going at the moment is the promise of spring break just around the corner. Sleeping in late, eating the entire kitchen cabinet, and running around with friends sounds like so much fun right now. (I'm currently procrastinating; I should be doing homework.) As I struggle to not fall asleep on my keyboard, I'm listening to a freaking awesome song. For those who will only listen to bands that aren't on iTunes, this is not a song for you. The beauty of mainstream music is that it's listened to by a lot of people; therefore, it has to be at least decent. (There are some exceptions to this rule..cough...coughjustingbieber) Don't get me wrong I have a fair share of secret indie bands that I absolutely adore. This particular song by Fun. can lift anyone's spirits and it's a godsend on the hardest part of a run.(The first minute ;) Do you have a certain song that lifts you up whenever your down? That one song that really speaks to you?
